Workman fell from shed

The proprietor of Highland Timber Buildings Ltd of Forres has been fined £3,000.

The fine came after an employee fell from a Tomnavoulin, Banffshire, farm shed roof, breaking his leg in November 2007.

The injured worker had worked with no fall protection and had almost completed placing roof sheets when he fell 3 metres to the ground.
